Light effects seem to be the easiest way to achieve really professional, awesome results in your work. Perhaps this is why they’ve gotten so popular, but whatever the reason, everyone seems to have experimented with light effects at some point. Luckily for those looking to hone their skills or learn something new, there are a ton of light effects tutorials out there. However, not all are that good. I’ve decided to gather an ULTIMATE list of every great light effect tutorial that I could find. Believe you me, some of these were not easy to come by, and took some serious research. You may have seen a few of these before (several come from the better known Photoshop sites), but hopefully there is enough unseen material here to keep you inspired for quite a while. Also some tutorials aren’t strictly just a lighting effect, but enough of the tutorial is comprised of lighting effects that it made it onto the list.
Needless to say this is by far the biggest roundup that PSDFAN has ever done. There are a total of 75 great tutorials for you to learn from, and part 1 will share the first 25 of these with you. Check back soon, as I’ll be posting parts 2 and 3 shortly.
